I am still thinking really hard about my storyboard for UCLA every time I go to sleep. OmiGod I only have one week and a half left to get it all down. *HEADDESK*

I'm currently watching Kimi ni Todoke and this is a pretty accurate screenshot of what my face looks like when I watch it.



I only watched 7 episodes so far and I think I teared up watching every single one of them. BAAAAAAAAWL. I wonder if this is PMS or something. Sawako is so similar to my old self and my current self in some ways *headdesk*. Heck, I even realized I started forget how it was to be a complete loner who was jealous of people that were buddybuddy, and how I felt awkwaaaard saying somebody was my friend or not because I didn't know if they felt the same way (FAIL). But I think it's healthy for me to look back and say to myself, "You've moved forward since then! Your 12-year-old self would be proud you have such awesome friends!!"

Note to self: Read more jousei manga!

I also finished Bakemonogatari pretty quickly. It was a memorable series and I really liked Araragi, Senjougahara, and Kanbaru for their really weird personalities. The abstract stylized art direction of Shaft is always a plus! Sadly, I would've went insane watching the flashing of blocks of text and the loooong scenes of no animation with twitching mouths (budget constraints???) for more than 12 episodes. But since this was a light novel (and light novel anime tend to be dominated by the voice-acting), the script saved the animation studio's butt. HAHA!

I complain more than I should. ANYWAY, it was a witty story and if I could read Japanese quickly (HAHAHAHAHA NOT), I would go ahead and read the light novel.

I like discussing dumb things on LJ. That's what my LJ is for.

I was looking at some new Final Fantasy XIII trailers for the hell of it (AKA the graphics are perty) and I thought, "Did they HAVE to make Lightning's eyelashes all weirdly thick to make her look more 'girly'?" But then I happened to look at some old pictures of Lightning, and her eyelashes were SO MUCH BETTER.

Riku's thick black eyelashes in KH2 kind of creep me out too, to be fair.

Other weird things I noticed:
- Three of the main girls have pink hair. Why not brown or blonde or something? Hell, even purple or green? Er???
- Lightning's sister Serah has the thinnest legs I have ever seen. DAMN. I can fit into size 0-2 pants and she makes my legs look meaty. I googled "stick thin legs" and I think only this model is even CLOSE to her thinness.
- Forgive me for not being politically correct, but it's plain funny that Snow is more "gangsta" than Sazh. Then again, Nomura like's blonde and blue eyed gangsta types (KH2!Seifer, Beat, and now Snow, EH?).
- In every trailer I have seen Hope in, he's screaming like he's going to rip somebody's kidney out without a second thought. LOL @ CRAZY SHOTA.

I'm definitely looking more forward to Final Fantasy XIII Versus~~~!!! Not because I'm biased because it's led mainly by the Kingdom Hearts team and that it has really cool looking male characters. NOPE. NOPE, NOT AT ALL. Stop looking at me like that... *hides in corner*

I've been reading Bleach the past two weeks because my two favorite characters Tousen and Komamura were in it.

But... I think this week's chapter killed a piece of my SOUL.

Today, I had to go to a lunch thing with my dad and my autistic brother. My brother lives in a house with other autistic adults and the caretakers apparently have this get-together dinner thing once a year. Now that I think about it, I only see my brother around 3-5 times a year. I get uncomfortable around him now because he doesn't look at me in the eye. I swear he looked at me when we all lived together... hrm! Maybe it's my memories fooling me? My memories of my time with my brother are fading fairly quickly. Only memories of ARGH I AM SO FREAKIN' ANNOYED seem to be the only ones remaining (like my grandma, lol). Because of this, I always thought my family was dysfunctional and disconnected (not like I help much) but I guess everybody has their own kind of dysfunctional family, eh?

I played a little more of that dating game and GUESS WHAT??? Right after my love-rival dragged my BFF Kijyo (Osaka guy) on a ... "date", he suddenly HATED me. I freakin' dated you for 3 years (game time) and you suddenly hate me because of what that girl told you in the span of a few hours? IF REAL LIFE WAS LIKE THAT, I AM IN DESPAIR.
I haven't touched the game since then. I should see what happens but... .__.;;; <-- caring too much about a fictional character!!

I'm watching 1-2 episodes of Bakemonogatari every day while I eat lunch and I freakin' love it now. I just finished Saruga's arc!! I LOVE TOMBOYS. I just wish there were more anime tomboys that aren't sporty like me.... >_>

I'm borrowing Natalie's Tokimeki Memorial: Girl's Side DS game and I'm quickly realizing a couple of things:
1) I HATE SUCKING UP TO GUYS WITH A PASSION. I DON'T GIVE A CRAP THAT MY CLOTHES AIN'T FASHIONABLE OR I DON'T ANSWER CORRECTLY TO YOUR DUMB QUESTION. <-- will never date, ever
2) Why do I have to lose female friends just because they like the guy that I'm dating? >:| UGH, jealousy.
3) I'm not used to calling and hanging out with more than 3 people... and I have to do that in this game... *FAIL*
4) Why must I study in a videogame? And why do I feel bad when I fail at a test... in a videogame? OTL
5) My exercise points are over 160, WHY DO I STILL LOSE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENTS? ;______;

I'm enjoying dating this Kansai-ben guy a little too much. He's so fun and nice. 8D Of course, he's fake, b'awwww. Figures. The other guys in this dating sim, however, I can barely tolerate. ESPECIALLY the main guy Hazuki (LOL, wut). He's too straight faced all the time and acts like a huge prick if you slightly get on his bad side. Sliiightly. I dissed him so much in the game that I apparently "hurt his feelings" though. Wtf. I felt bad and apologized over the cellphone... >_> I suck.

Other than that, I managed to watch Princess and the Frog AGAIN (HAHAHA, I AM A FREAK) and only me and my brother were in the entire theatre. XDDD If only I went with a couple of Disney freaks, we could've totally spazzed out loud at all the funny and cute parts.
I tried to spot the Minnie Mouse car topper(???) and carpet this time, but I only managed to see carpet. D'aw. :P

Princess and the Frog, wide release! OMG!!! I'm planning to watch it twice tomorrow (hopefully) and Monday, because I'm a nutjob and I want 2-D animation to come back, dammit. It's an investment. XD
